As he walked away..
She tried to recall what could she do to make him stop..
His shadow faded in the distance far away..
Impact so hard; a tear-drop..
She stood there,swallowing her tears..
Overcoming the consequent fears..
A sense of emptiness suddenly creeped in..
Silence and uncertainty within..
Her voice began to quiver..
And her body began to shiver
All the memoirs of the past flashed across her mind..
All that he did for.. In cash or kind
The vows that they swore..they'd never break,
A strange sensation .. A heart-ache
"Please don't go"..she wanted to scream and shout..
Even though..there would be rejection out and about
"Look back at me..one more time..
I won't say a word;understand the mime.."
She stood there..as he left.. Bare and cold..
The purpose of her life..still untold..
